Rgrx... Any way to get some side pics? That is my idea of a perfect 30-06. You ever decide to let it go down the road, let me know. Nice set up.

I figured I'd be the only one on this thread to post a pic of a Marlin MR-7 in 30-06! My dad bought this when I lived in Utah and left it with me so he wouldn't have to travel with a rifle. Worked out well for me! laugh Just wish he was still around to use it...

You can just see part of it in this pic.

Here's a better pic of the rifle, but overall not a very good pic

Stock standard Ruger Hawkeye with a Leupold VX2 3-9x40 duplex. Doesnt wear the bipod normally, just made it easier to photograph.

When I can't make up my mind which rifle to take, or if I am not sure what game may end up in the crosshairs, or what weather I may have to deal with, this is the rifle I grab. Nothing but a Remmy 700 bedded in a HSP stock with a trigger job, but it shoots straight, carries easy, and it IS a 30-06. There are scars and scrapes, but it always gets the job done.

Would love to. But don't own one. Well other than a couple of M1 competition guns.

We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
