Drummond, a small run of .500 Maximum brass was produced by Hornady many years ago. It is hard to come by. The best alternative is .50 Alaskan brass (Starline) cut down to 1.6-inches.

Glad you are going to keep the 500 Linebaugh max. I have 2 500 linebaughs that I shoot all the time. I have never shot a 500 max. My hand trembles at the though of it. BTY...... If you decide to reload and need the brass I just listed a bunch of new Starline 50 Alaskan brass for sale in the classifieds today. ( shameless plug - I know)
