Okay as a Chevy owner I'll admit it. Ford & Toyoder owners are big dicks... with teeny wankers!

About 1/2 my trucks have been Fords and about 1/2 been Chevy's. Had one Jeep pickup and one Dodge pickup.
The worst truck was a 79 Ford with a 302. However, I had a Chevy S-10 Blazer that fought hard for the worst ever vehicle I've owned position. One of the best was a 78 Ford 3/4 ton with 400. One of the other really good trucks was a 4wd Chevy super-cab 1/2 ton 350 engine.
Had 1 tons and have had 1/2 tons and a couple 3/4 tons.
I don't like cars. I have only had one or two in the past couple of decades. Couldn't wait to sell them.
My current Chevy has about 160,000 on it gets about 27 mpg when driven at speed limit (rarely happens). I'm thinking Dodge 4 door 4wd. I imagine it could be my last truck.

By the time I'm ready for another truck, Guv'mint Motors will likely have gone the way of Pontiac. Not interested in Italian Jeeps or socially-engineered trucks.

215,000 miles and going strong.

Tell me, how many Ford F-150's and Chevy Silverado's are sold in Japan? Don't be a Toyota terrorist, support your own country, with profits flowing to American companies to build the American economy.

About the same number of Tundras that are sold in Japan... They don't have a market for them.

Besides, Tundras are built in San Antonio with 75% of the parts manufactured in the US.

Silverados - 62% of the parts are manufactured in the US. (let me know how long that Mexican transmission lasts...)

75% U.S. parts? Really? Or are those parts made on U.S. soil by Toyota subsidiaries? And tell me, where do the profits go? Let's have a discussion on that, shall we? Since Toyota stock isn't listed on an American exchange, where do you think those profits are going?

I love my 75% USA made Tundra....I could not bring myself to buy a 52% made in USA 2014 Chevy pickup. To each his own..I am going to drive what I Like and could care less what anyone else drives.

What stock exchange you lookin' at?

New York Stock Exchange http://money.cnn.com/quote/quote.html?symb=TM.

I'm guessing the profits go in your and my 401K. Now what?

Unfortunately it's not even that high of a percentage. According to the NHTSA, the 2014's are only 41% US and Canada origin combined. If that works for you, great. Buy it.

It could be 100% made in China and people would still buy solely on the nameplate. "Hey, at least it's an American brand!"

Look closer - that's not Toyota common stock.

In the United States, Toyota stock is offered in the form of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The ADRs are traded under the symbol TM on the NYSE and are based on shares traded in Japan. Each ADR represents two shares of Toyota common stock.

What are American Depositary Receipts?

A negotiable certificate issued by a U.S. bank representing a specified number of shares (or one share) in a foreign stock that is traded on a U.S. exchange. ADRs are denominated in U.S. dollars, with the underlying security held by a U.S. financial institution overseas. ADRs help to reduce administration and duty costs that would otherwise be levied on each transaction.

Why is the difference important? Because Toyota shares don't technically trade on any U.S. exchange, they are exempt from U.S. exchange reporting requirements. Just another way Toyota can hide their dealings in this country.

As for 401K investments, that's also worthy of a closer look.

So, we see that a lot of AMERICAN hopes and dreams are riding on the performance, i.e. profit, of Ford Motor Company.

How about Toyota ADR's? Keep in mind these are percentage ownership of Toyota ADR's, not Toyota common stock -

Well look at that, not even 1% of Toyota ADR's are held by institutions and mutual funds, while 54% of Ford's outstanding common stock is funding the financial future of AMERICA and AMERICANS.

Now, who is funding my retirement?

It has been my observation that drivers of Chevrolets are more aggressive than drivers of other makes.
