Wonder how much that hide will bring or does the state pay a bounty for these?

I got another rat.
This is a smaller rat at a smaller coon trap.

I have not caught any coons in a month. I hope having bait that lasts more than a couple hours will improve my coon luck.

Is that marshmallow for bait?

I put out rat traps at night with a big marshmallow or peanut butter for bait.

I caught a song bird in a rat trap last year, so I try to just run them at night.

I use big marshmallows, small marshmallows, dry cat food, Crazy Coon [sweet stuff like jam] and canned sardines for the coons in the have a heart type live traps.

i've had some luck by catching one rat in a live trap. leave the live one in the trap & surround the trapped animal with sticky baits & regular spring loaded traps. the live one seems to attract others. knife guy39

I could hear this one from my bed. He was running across my deck, so I put a trap in his path and got him 4 hours later.

That is marshmallow, with the texture of cottage cheese after birds or animals have been pecking or chewing on it.
