After seeing allot of guys on here praise it I installed Adblocker on my lap-top this morning.
Took less than five minutes and man-o-man what a difference.
Makes this site much more pleasant to view and kills those two video ad's that ran non-stop at the bottom of the page that were eating up allot of my band-width time. (I'm on the cheapie plan with my isp.)
Wish I'd have done it allot sooner.
You guys that complain about this place all the time might want to give it a try, and to those who recommended it,,, thanks.

I got adblocker plus and it locks the ads down tighter than the pope's pooper.
I almost feel ashamed when folks complain about audio ads, pop-ups, etc.
No experience. No empathy.

Gotta have my IT guy come in at work, I run adblocker here on home computer and it works great, shows how many ads it blocks on each site.
so downloaded it at work and while the stop sign shows up it doesn't block any ads, not sure what I did wrong, went to reinstall it and it tells me it's already there. but no blocky
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

I'm with RWE and it stops those stupid ads before a youtube video too.
No more waiting 5 to 15 seconds to skip an ad to see what I want.

I'm glad I saw this post. I just down loaded it. There were times I'd hear music and the site was really slow. Works fast now. Thanks

Some of us have been trying to spread the word about adblocker for years. It works, it makes the Fire a nice place, and it is free. I wonder why some folks are so slow to install it.

It could be that somehow you've disabled the AdBlocker, so while it's still there - installed as it were - it's been shut off.
If you click on the stop sign there should be a drop down that gives you some options?
I do know that there are some government sites here that require me to either disable the AdBlocker or access them on Firefox where I don't run AdBlocker so I can run their fun programs and see the popup prompts that they use.
Anyway, maybe that will help and perhaps not.

I started getting those audio popups a few weeks ago, I already had ad blocker installed but it wasn't blocking them.
I downloaded it again and it stopped them.

Make sure the Adblock automatic updates option is on "Default" (works here) or "On". (Tools/Add-ons)
