Anybody have experience with this scope? It has my interest.

These are terrific optics -- notably ahead of the Zeiss Conquest in terms of resolving power under poor/low lighting conditions and not all that far behind the Diavari Victory. I only wish their #4 reticle was more like Zeiss and had a slightly thicker center wire. Nonetheless, the 4-12x40 Meostar is a superb scope and should serve you well.
Mine tracks perfectly and seems to be built like the proverbial tank.

Feeder raiders are in trouble when there's moonlight. That #4 reticle, despite being a tad thin in the center, and the scope's ability to resolve fine detail under poor lighting make for a deadly nightime combo.

I would look at the 3-12x56 as well.

Bobby, did you do a tracking test or more general observation when making adjustments?
Appreciate the suggestions guys, but I'm not interested in anything larger than a 44mm objective right now.

Thanks, Bobby.
Anyone else have any experience with it?

I had one and sold it. The scope was optically the best I've ever had at the time, but the weight, the gigantic ocular, and poor eye relief were things that I did not like.

Drano I don't see that scope in their line up? Are you looking at a used one? There is a 4-16 x 44 Meostar and 4-12 x 50 meopro. The meopro compares to my eyes to the conquest, I am fairly certain the Meostar at least to my eyes is comparable to the Zeiss Victory glass.

I've owned (and own) practically all of them, and if there is a particular MEOPTA that fits my application, then that is what I buy.
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

Jimmy-That model is apparently being phased out by Meopta. I don't understand why, but then again, Zeiss' decision to discontinue the #4 reticle in the Victory HT lineup is equally perplexing.
Nonetheless, there are plenty of places still selling the existing inventories of the MeoStar 4-12x40.

I wish it were lighter. It seems to have quality glass and reputation for reliable tracking that aren't common in their price range.

Alex at Europtic has a good deal on the 4-12 demo...
