Does that help?

First can Pat? If so, welcome to the club!

I've got three currently with 2 more in the queue. Probably done after this unless I get a 338 or something (doubtful).

Do you have a quick detach on all your cans/rifles? Or do you just thread them on?

Travis,

All mine are threaded. Currently I have a ThunderBeast 30P-1, Silencerco Sparrow, and a SWR Octane HD .45cal. I use the 22lr (Sparrow) can more than anything else so decided to order another rimfire can. Ordered a SWR/Silencerco Spectre II this time around (just to be different) and a ThunderBeast 223A.

I debated which route to take on the 223 can--quick disconnect or threaded, and in the end convinced myself to get the threaded version. My reason (possibly flawed???) was that I'll have these cans the rest of my life, and I don't want to be trying to find some quick disconnect mount 10 or 20 years from now for an obsolete can. I'll always be able to get something threaded.

Plus, it's really not that big of a deal in my opinion to thread a can on.

Ok, I have been wondering. I think I bought an Elite Iron Bravo 1. Can't even remember what the hell I ordered.

I'm hoping when I pick it up the dealer explains how the hell I'm supposed to attach it to my AR. Because I have no clue. grin

I'd be fine threading it on and leaving it as well. If I can get by without the quick detach, I will.

22LR can is next...

The 223A is full auto rated for SBRs. Doubt I'll ever own a full auto, but I will probably own a 5.56 SBR upper and it would be nice to be able to blast away without worrying about destroying the can.

Almost went 223P-1, but got a good deal on the 223A since it was a demo unit. That and the 223P-1 is only rated for 14.5" 5.56s.

Oh, and definitely get a 22lr can. Most of them can be run on every rimfire and also on 22 Hornet. I've got a little CZ 452 for the kids that's threaded, and it is mouse fart quiet with subsonic ammo.

The guy I ordered this one from said he sells a lot of what I bought (whatever that is) and said they're very versatile and work well with AR's.

Here's to hoping...

I have 22/45 Pro-Lite that is threaded. So I have no choice but to purchase a can for it...

I looked at a Bravo 1 last weekend. Fairly heavy can, but supposed to meter well. The way the threading works is it threads onto an Elite Iron muzzle brake, which is included. The one I looked at came with another brake threaded 1/2x28 as well as the 5/8x24 for 30 cal type stuff.

What do you mean when you say "meter?"

Ah. Gotcha. That was probably a stupid question but I freely admit the only thing I know about cans is I want one. Grin...

Elite Iron's cans are suppose to be some of the quietest out there!

Is the Sparrow rated for the Hornet? One of those has been on my want list for a while now.
