I owned a Kodiak 375HH, it was a nice rifle IMO. Not sure what you need to know? You could probably find some online reviews of this rifle that go into a fair amount of detail.

My big game rifle was a Sako 30-06, and for large game I had an old 375HH built off a Mauser and also had a copy of Phil Shoemaker's M70 416 Magnum light rifle. I replaced both the Mauser and M70 with the Kodiak, but ended up building another improved version of the Shoemaker M70 and liked it better than the Kodiak, so the Sako was sold. I do like the Sako Bear series and wanted a non-magnum version that could replace both the 30-06 and 416, so I got a 9.3x62 Black Bear. I like this rifle so much that I sold my Sako 30-06. The Black Bear is about a pound lighter than the Kodiak and handles better, IMO. I doubt there is anything I could kill with the Kodiak that I could not kill with the Black Bear. If I were to go with a heavier and less handy rifle like the Kodiak, I prefer a 416 Rem over 375HH for large game. But for a non-magnum big/large game rifle, I am enamored with a handy 9.3x62. Therefore, the Kodiak didn't float my boat.

Best smile
