Thought this might help somebody who might be looking at this particular boot. I normally wear either the Renegade or the Tibet depending on how much weight I plan on packing.

A few days ago I ordered up the Camino. They are definitely more stiff than the Renegade but lighter (and more flexible) than the Tibet. Time will tell how they hold up but I have had great luck with Lowa Boots over the years. If you have a narrow heel and normal to wide fore foot Lowa might be your brand.

I was able to find them online for 239.00 shipped with free returns.

Did you ever try the Ranger? I am looking for something between the Renegade and Tibet and that is what I was going to try.

How high is the Camino?

I do have a pair of the Rangers. They are not as stiff as the Tibet and lower. For me the Camino GTX is more comfortable and I think a little taller. I will see if I can post a picture of the two side by side.

I may have to give them a try. Thanks for posting the pic. I did find a Ranger in my size for $219 today. Between the Ranger and Camino is size length the same? I normally wear a 10 1/2 so just deciding what I should order. Sounds like from what I read that they run true.

The Camino is a great boot especially for low volume feet. Lacing system snugs your foot up perfectly. If you found them for $239 you got a fantastic deal.
