Well I'm sitting at Ron's watching the footy. Ron's At a 21st In bundaberg and Shelley Heath and I leave tomorrow to come back to Brissy. Anyhow we haven't got a lot of pigs this trip we sort of get 3-4 every morning and afternoon but have not seen any big mobs. This one I hit right in the back of the shoulder on the run at about 130 yards with the nyati anda750gr woodliegh. He has been the most impressive in relation to damage done so far but I have picked off a couple of real good Pigs with both Dog and shooting. I'll do a full hunt report Up later with some pics of the better Pigs but here is a small one The nyati wrecked

Reminds me of a coyote I shot with a 87gr HP out of the 25-06 at about 10ft.

The .585 is the pig hunting equivalent of a nuclear first strike.

Looks like a sage rat hit by a 223, with a 40 grain V Max...

but those little things are weighed in ounces, not pounds...

reminds me of a movie line... " Use enough Dynamite there Butch?"

No I haven't mate, I won't be either as that rifle I have a reamer going through it to use the full length basic brass rather than trim it. It will take the case capacity to 217 gr up from 185gr. I have some 750gr acp bullets that will run at about 2700fps through one though
