Anyone have any opinions about these scopes?

I found what looks like a good deal on a 3-12x42 with the Rapid Retical for 22 LR. It looks interesting, and was just wanting to hear from some of you who may have had experience with them.

I've got a couple of the older 3-9's. One with the 22 reticle, the tuther with the 17hmr. The reticles take some getting used to, due to the busy-ness. That said, they work well......

Yours are probably the Japanese ones. I believe these are Chinese. That makes me nervous. Although I have some other Chinese scopes that are OK. And this will just be on a 22. But for $250, I'm wondering if another Nikon P22 or a Prostaff Rimfire would be a better option.

My P-F's have better glass than my P-22. I like the P-22 better for the simpler reticle, tho .

I have several of the older P/F Jap scopes.
A couple on .22's and 1 on a.17.
2 P/F RR 600's , Rifle scopes.
I talked to P/F a while back and their .22 scopes are Chinese now.
I like the reticles, but I don't like the chinks.
I have had very good accuracy in the field with loads I was familiar with on the CF rifles. I am confident with the CF scopes for hunting.
I like the .22 scopes also, takes a little bit of practice but good results. The .22's were regulated to 300 yds.
I like the reticle in the first focal plane.
That is all I buy. More manufactures are moving into this.
A few years ago I don't think Leupy even had 1 in the first focal plane, but I don't follow Leupy ,so I am not up to speed on Leupys.

Great scopes. The original pride fowler 22 and 22 mag scopes are top quality. The new 30mm tube versions are as high quality with more magnification and excellent glass.

The range reticle do work.

I've got one of the older versions in 3-9 that works great.

I picked up the 3-12 model for my Browning 52 and I'm having a heck of a time finding a load that lines up with the reticle.

Anyone out there with a 3-12? What ammo are you using?
