Nosler has a 225g Spitzer Accubond for the 35 Whelen and I was wondering if anyone has loaded it for the .358 Norma mag? Also, I am looking for reloading data and bullets for the .358 as the ammo I have is getting years old.
Ideas?

If you can swing it; H4350 is never a bad place to start in the 358 'cause it always seems like the place I end up. Many sources suggest faster stuff though so you might also try those if you can't find or don't have 4350.

65 grs of either 4895 is my load with partitions.
I tend to use more than enough gun

With my 350 Rigby which is kissin cousin's with the 358 Norma I found Varget and RL15 edged out H-4350 in terms of accuracy.
I'd expect a top dose of Varget or RL-15 to be around 68 gr under a 225 gr pill, and H-4350 to have a top charge around 73 gr.

H4895 w/225 Partitions, H4350 w/250 Partitions and R 19 w/280 Swifts. Sorry I can't give charges as they are....warm, but accurate.

My load development always began and ended with H4350. Didn't matter what bullet, They were all accurate. I didn't bother chasing speed, because well, I never do.

I've had real good luck with 250 gr Partitions in my .358 Norma mag. I use 61.5 gr of IMR 4064 with Federal 215 primers.

I use 77gns ADI 2209 [4350] behind the 225gn SGK for excellent accuracy @ 2880fps

A max load of IMR 4350 with the 225 AB's shot good in my 358.
There is no way to coexist no matter how many bumper stickers there are on Subaru bumpers!

Cub, I never tried those RN bullets, how do you like em? as far as on game anyway, I can see you like the way they shoot paper.

I've never shot them on game but the current owner of that rifle uses them on bear w/o problems. It's a fairly mild load. AFAIK, Hornady is no longer making them.
If I still owned the rifle, I'd look for more of those bullets and hoard them.

The Hornady 250 gr rn is a great shooting bullet, my 350 Rigby would group 1/2" with them.
I only took one animal with that bullet, a small deer at near point blank range with a neck shot. Clocking 2700 fps at the muzzle, it was nearly decapitated.
