I am by no means a knowledgeable person when it comes to photography. I generally apply the shotgun approach...take lots of pictures and maybe get a few decent ones by luck.

I purchased a Nikon Cool Pix from Cameraland 2 years ago. It works for me. It came with a 4 GB SD card. I would like to use the video option on the camera but fear I may need a larger SD card.

Lots to choose from out there not only by brand but size "GB", speed, etc. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for any advice.

In order to do video easily or easier, it is two things you need to look at: The size and speed of the card. I would recommend as large a card as your camera can handle. It should say in the manual how big you can use. The other thing to consider is the speed. It will be best if you can use a Class 10 card. I just checked the website and Joel at Camera Land has some 32GB Class 10 cards for $69.99. They come with a lifetime warranty and have free recovery if anything ever happens.

yep you definitely want a Class 10 card for video....it does definitely make a difference....they hurt the pocket book compared to normal cards but are worth it....found that out with our Canon 70D

Ok thanks. Cool Pix L110 owners manual shows 32 GB as approved.
