For scenery you can not beat Glacier. The Canadian side is even more scenic. You will not, however, see the amount of wildlife that you will at Yellowstone. More for the kids to do there also. Only been to Glacier once, but I've been to Yellowstone 4 times and still haven't seen all of it.

Griz, did you mean there is more for the kids to do at Glacier or Yellowstone? Cuz we went to Yellowstone last year and Glacier is prolly #2 on our list this year (behind the Dells).

Tom, as I am sure you know, gun fit is extremely important in a shotgun. It was smart to have her try some on for size and see what she liked and felt the best. How about her daughter, did she find one she liked?

I was kicking around the thought of a new shotgun with my Cabelas points but as I thought about it, I realized I like my current one so much I am silly to even think about getting new one! So now what to do with the Cabelas points....?

Didn't check for her daughter. I'd be surprised if she'll ever hunt but it was important that she took the class. Her whole family hunts so she should know about them.

Berettaman, something to consider for the Dells.. If you stayed somewhere like the Wilderness..

If it rains you still have inside water parks, also you can just walk from your room to the outside and inside pools. No parking the car, no locker rooms, change differ clothes....

Also i know they have rooms with full kitchens they are spendy, but you will save alot of money on eating out. Plus the restaurants are way packed, expensive and just average food...

P.S. i own 20 percent of the Wilderness resort thats why i keep bringing it up.. LOL. There are other resorts that are just as nice... Hopes this helps what ever you end up doing the kids will have a blast...

Yeah, I would love to stay at the Wilderness as it sounds like a great place. I just have to see if we can swing the $$$.

The boys and I are heading out to camp today. They don't have school and I took the day off from work. Going to bring a couple guns, do some target shooting. Main reason for our trip is to get an ATV home so we can drag the driveway at home. Also bringing the big BBQ grill home.

Supposed to be turkey hunting today but I'm working a 1/2 day then going to head up. 14" of snow fell where I'm going so it will most likely be a Bon fire and beer fest.

Have a great weekend Dave. Good luck to all the 'buckers heading out chasing turkeys this weekend, and Happy Easter to one and all.

Very nice pic! Hooded mergansers are pretty ducks.

Kids home here too. I took the day off as well. Nothing too exciting here though. I actually gotta do a little work.
