Received my 280AI Sammi Spec. from Micky C. Pics to follow at a later date. Rem 700 action worked over by Mickey, Bartlein #3 bead blasted and finished at 23", skim bedded in my HS stock, want to try these bullets first. Depending on which weight gives me the best of both worlds (Speed and Accuracy). If they don't work out I will try the flavors from Hornady in their cup and core line up. I have tried searching, and there are a lot of loads on the net, just could not find these specific bullets. The powder that I am going with is H4831 or H4831sc, also have RL22 just in case. Temps could be in the 70's down in the 20's possibly. I have CCI LR primers, Federal 210 and 215GM primers also. Brass will be new Nosler 280AI. Info would be appreciated.

clos: I did not look but did you try Sierra data? Don't they list the 280AI?
If that does not work, use Nosler data to get started. I've loaded thousands of rounds in various cartridges that cross over between Sierra and Nosler bullets.Start low, work up; should not be a problem.
The 280 Remington is overbore.
The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.

I'd look at Nosler data, or even compare 280 and 7mm SAUM data in the same manual. The short magnum is 280AI capacity. All chambers/barrels are individuals, but that should get you very close.
Now with even more aplomb

Thanks guys for all the info. PaluH sent me the data from the sierra manual. And I will use that and cross reference data from the Nosler website like you all suggested..
Thanks again
Carlos.
