I have a nice pre 64 M70 Std. 257 Roberts that doesn't get shot much. Guns goin' in, guns goin' out. Ocassionally it gets "lost" and I go into panic mode.  Denny.

No, but I did have a close friend swear up and down he returned a rifle to me that hadn't.
I wasn't mad in the least because I know he is a very honest man. When he found out the he still had my rifle he was sooooo embarrassed.
We both had a good laugh and still do to this day whenever we remember it.
