Nosler makes their M48 rifle in 22-250 with a 1:9" twist.

It is impressive for awhile......first sign of firecracking in the throat and the 75gr AMax will blow-up at this velocity even if it is Big Stick,DF, or Boxer (whatever current handle of the day is).

Use the Berger 80grVLD at about 3400fps and it will work for the life of the barrel

btw: never used a 1-7.7" Krieger but many a 1-8" Krieger in 22-250AI

That spout doesn't have more than 3500 or so 75A-Max that's been whistled down it and hasn't seen a patch,let alone a brush,in 1500+(dropped it in saltwater once).

Cain't wait for schit to start blowing up. Laffin'!



In fairness however,the 80gr Berger has never shown me a [bleep] thing,in either terminal affects or flight characteristics. Very much enjoyed the 50fps difference in the 80 vs 75 Imagination and Pretend Chronicles.

Be curious to see a pic of just one of your "many" 8" Krieger 22-250AI's,if only to hear the Excuses and be blessed with yet another [bleep] Whine. Do tell. Laffin'!

I've not been around much more than a coupla dozen 22-250AI's spun 9" or faster and none have zooked a 75A-Max yet. PN,Lilja,Krieger,Shilen,Hart,Rock,Brux,Bartlein and a few others,so please feel free to Re-Imagine and Pretend as per your whim.
