In general, that sounds about right. But it's not so much the snow as it is the below zero (F) temps that make a stove worth the weight.

Don't worry about zero, I am with you when it gets below 20 Celsius.

The folding wyo stoves will have a built in grill insert for grilling as well

When I'm packing with my 4 legged friends, they carry a folding privy seat. I won't turn down the luxuries when I can get them.

So, how's that hing work, as far as, does it draft good and not smoke up the tent when you have it opened up like that to grill?

pre burning is a good idea to get used to the stove... it will smoke while you are grilling but that is pretty normal.
the stove weighs 4 lbs. and the boiler weighs 16 oz.

just made some of the triangle stoves with the grill top. it weighs 2 and a half pounds in the bag.

but i do know how to start a [bleep] storm.
my stove is easier and faster and burns more efficient than any of the stoves on the market hands down.
sets up in 5 seconds and burn time is 4 hrs. plus.
no loose pieces to forget or get lost.
simply the best but what would you expect from a wyoming company?
