Spoiling our 4-legged friends is half the fun

My three sleep on thier queen sized bed......sometimes they leave room for me n the wife.

If it is a quiet night, on top of the bed. If there is heavy wind and thunder, sandwiched between the pillows.

Oh ...how true. Our tiny "wiener" dog will be burrowed under the covers and if we happen to forget and touch the covers above him, he will give a little growl. Funny stuff. They all have their favorite spots, routines and unique personalities....kind of like little people.

Cats, about 3am one sleeps between my legs and one at the foot of the bed. Another sometimes will sleep between the wife and I. They all start out in their beds around the house."My" chair is popular when I'm not in it.

What a cutie! We had some thunder yesterday and our red border collie/coyote mix did her typical panting, pacing, shaking, and then she was clinging to me. She is terrified of fireworks and thunder. We need to find a far away place without fireworks on the 4th of July!

My golden retriever won't sleep on my bed. He'll get on the bed for belly scratches before we go to sleep but when the scratchin' is done he gets off the bed and sleeps on his bed at the foot of my bed.

If it's warm at night he sleeps in the bathtub.

He sleeps on his side or on his back with his feet splayed in the air.

I've got a strange dog.

Kennel in the kitchen. They share the same kennel.

Our Border Collie sleeps zipped into her portable kennel which is set up permanently in our room ... or on the bed when we neglect to zip her in. Snoozing places during the day include the couch, love seat, under the coffee table, or curled up by my chair at the computer desk.
