I noticed on a Optima Pro it has hole on the right side of the rifle. It is located between the hammer and the barrel on the frame. I have a pro mag so I know little about the optima pro. I would like to know if someone can tell me what this is for. It looks to have a slotted screw in it. Thanks for any help.

firing pin bushing. Remove it and clean the firing pin, its just a simple spring like a pen uses and then the firing pin comes right out.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnNsGlmzCNM

Thanks for the info bigblock. I thought it had something to do with the firing pin assy. But the pro mag is on the inside and didn't know for sure. Thanks again and have a great evening.

I was checking out the new Accura MR Nitride when I saw a old post of yours from a couple years back. Was wondering if that MR nitride was worth the money.

I honestly can not say, I havent looked at one or handled one yet. I have the original MR which the updated finish and so far its held up fine with no chipping.
