I just fence em out.
Have a pretty good Bobcat population around here that I hunt/trap in the winter so I like having the bunny's around. Like the old trappers say, "find Rabbits, find Cats".
I will however eat one or two each winter but other than that, wabbits get a pass.

Well Gunner,,,, looks like my little Cur dog didn't get the memo about not killing the local bunnies. This is what she brought me while I was out working in the garden this morning. We just spent some significant money high fencing the wife's garden. Deer were hopping the 5 foot fence. We had chicken wire at the bottom of the previous fence and of the present fence.

seen more rabbits this year than in the last several years combined. went to huntin camp last week, musta seen dozens in the headlights before dawn. Guess the population cycle is at peak...

I need to talk to Wifey about the NE bedroom, it has a pair of walkin closets with a perfect bench between them overlooking the garden thru a big window, guess it's for makeup and hair fixin er sumptin, could be the perfect all weather garden hit station. Gunner

Yes, we can blast pests here for crop depredation. Suppressed 10/22 on the job this morning, at the shot bunny #1 fell over, bunny #2 hopped a 180 to see fallen comrade thief, only to shortly receive same. LOL Gunner good eating right there, w/pan gravy...

Cottontails are at plague levels in western Colorado this year. Can hardly get out of the driveway without running over one of them. They are hard on my lettuce.
