I know we have discussed some before but I need to know .
threads on 99 tang for peep sights.
threads on forearm stud+ screw
threads on trigger and bolt stop screws .

I don't have an imperial thread gauge .

The first 2 are common #8-40 threads.

The trigger spring and bolt stop screws are oddballs. Must be in the neighborhood of a #5. Have never IDed them perfectly.

The screws are not common, but can be tapped out to that. There was no real "Standard" on thread dimensions way back and the factory threads you are talking about are generally undersized compared to modern thread standards.

thanks but I have lots of the screws .
guy at a gun show brought me an action missing the bolt stop and wants all the other parts as well, bolt stop screw hole was slightly buggered and I needed to find size to retap.
