Best thing he's got going for him is the fact that it's him vs .gov
Federal gov over reaches and destroys everything in it's path, people love to hate them (myself included).

It was illegal,by law and the terms of the grazing right permit, to improve upon anything.
It was a grazing permit, not a pretend it's your land and do what you think best permit.
Just so we keep in context in the terms of 'freeloading'... Ranchers built that country many of us use and take advantage of. Without their hard work and investment what was waste land in many areas are now productive, both in range management and wildlife habitat. The price was sweat and money over many generations. This is nothing different than the government pushing indians off land they had first... if Bundy wants to play Geronimo, that's his choice. Does anyone know what price .gov calculated for 100+ years of improvements from Bundy's family on that lease? Except in cases of emer gency , no permit or lease shall be canceled under this subsection without two years� prior notification.
