Australia is the only continent that I have not killed something on yet, though I have been there.
I hope to use this forum for narrowing my search for an outfitter in a few years. I need to hit New Zealand first.
No "shrimp on the barbi!!!" jokes please...Your beer sucks too. You have too many nasty snakes. GFY Australia. I will see you in a few years. Please import some real beer before I get there.

Any particular place I should be looking at for stag, pig and whatever else that is relatively cheap and free range?

Most of what American's know of Australia is fabricated BS. Some created through false images like the Dundee movie.
No-one seems to know that an ex painter from the Harbour (English Spelling) Bridge got a few mates together and spent just $2,000,000 on a silly script that required no props, carpenters, extensive sets or pre-camera research teams and made billions. That's business acumen.
We don't Drink Fosters. The US version is a different beer made in Texas and North Carolina.
Did you know Aussies invented Satellite Telly in the days before it went Socialist? Alan Bond, who was the first person in history to take the America's Cup away, also put SKY TV in the UK and the world followed.
Did you know that the Aussie Telecommunications company Testra was exporting communications technology to China and India in the 80's?
Even built a pipeline from Oz to China to export natural gas as OZ is mineral rich, though the citizens don't see a dime of it. Kind of like out Obama windmills that cost billions in subsidies though your electricity bill keeps escalating.
Did you know that all the Jap cars you see are made with Aussie Steel as BHP is the largest Steel Company in the world and Japan it's largest trading customer as they have no natural resources.
Queenslander's call the fly spray they drink "XXXX" because they can't spell "Beer"

I responded, "Australia". She though a moment and they said, "Take ya"all long to drive here?" I looked at my American wife and she shrugged and said "I told you".
You see, we always thought the Clampet's were Hollywood fiction. The buggers are real!

 Nope the Clampets are real. Scary isn't it! It is truly humorous and sometimes a bit disturbing on what preconceived notions some people have. Most from the east still think we live in soddies and travel by horse.  Glad the Australia forum was created. Interesting posts gents!
