Good-Bad-Indifferent? Anybody used one?

It looks like they're a closed up design, has anyone had a problem with those?

I have two of them. One on a couple year old Colt 6920 because it was about the only decent trigger I could find available for a large trigger pin at the time.

They're decent, not a Geissele of course, but better than a Rock River or most of the other trigger's I've found and if you look around, you can find them pretty cheap.

They are single stage if that matters to you.

Must be better than a standard rock river, because a NM Rock River, with a bit of tuning, while not perfect, is about one of the best bangs for the buck in the AR world.

I have a couple, which I have put on the heavier bull barreled guns. I also have a couple of Timneys, and prefer them.

Both have decent feel, but the CMC uses itty-bitty spring clips to retain the pins, and they are easily lost. Timney's arrangement is more reliable, IMO

For only $36 more than the CMC, it looks like the G2S would be the better bet.

Dude... go with the Timney AR trigger. Trust me.

I received my second one today from the Trading place, took two days to get here.

I've tried the Timney and the G2S is far better.

Ain't it amazing what some consider good vs what others consider good?

Now if one is looking for better than standard factory... thats pretty easy to do genearlly... but doesn't mean one would call it good.

So the g2s is about the same as SSA? For a lighter trigger the SSA-e. What about super 3 gun? Sorry for the hijack.

The 3Gun trigger doesn't really have a wall that it breaks through at all. It just sort of rolls right through the entire pull. The length of the pull and the reset are both super short. A lot of guys report getting doubles with that trigger if you're not careful.

Viking Tactics sells it as the Super-V trigger with 4.5# springs instead of the standard 3.5# springs, which supposedly helps with the doubling issue. Or Geissele will usually ship you new springs if you want.

Interesing on the rolling trigger. We shot infantry trophy, which was medium range targets as much as you can get out the gun in 50 secnods but you could not afford misses.... as such one could get fairly close to every second for shot and learned to do it really well with a 2 stage.

Not sure I could easily get used to a rolling trigger, but do I get it?, you are continually moving and pushing the sights to the next target as the trigger is about to break?

Not really Jeff, the trigger pull is super short. If you tried to apply any pressure on your way to the next target you'd fire before you ever got there (I'd imagine anyway).

Some people describe it as Geiselle's single stage trigger, but I don't know...there's no "wall" to speak of. It's just very different. Very, very fast.

Well since we're hijacking.

I pulled my SPR out and the trigger in it was really good. I wondered why I was about to change it but did anyway. Greased up the contact spots and installed the G2S. Absolute perfection. Better than I remember the Millazzo being. A very short first stage, a definable wall and then the glass rod breaks. All while utilizing full power springs.

I can't say if it's as good as the SSA (never tried one) but it's good enough for me.

I have never used the SSA, the SSA-E of which I have two are IIRC almost like the RRA NM trigger to me. Definitely lighter than a standard trigger.

Based on Bluedreaux's comments, I am thinking the super 3 gun might not be a good general purpose trigger.

The 4.5# Super Dynamic Combat is what I'll stick with for a SHTF gun. Got two of 'em.
