my oldest is a 1890 model Winchester built in 1906. had a 1873 Winchester 32-20 made in 1882 but let it get away.
the 1890 is 22wrf and still shoots 2 " at 100 yards. amazing little rifle.
ah! I forgot the 1725 matchlock Japanese. haven't worked up the nerve to shoot it as it is a masterpiece of art.

Those two Mausers are pretty special with or without the family heirloom angle that make them all special. Nice stash of guns and history.

I almost nailed one on Kagy! Almost clipped a couple of students on the sidewalk, but I'm sure they understood my actions.. I think that was a thumbs-up one of them gave me.

Shrapnel,

You've got an enviable stock of cool old iron. Bet you didn't buy them all the same year. laugh

Seriously -- nice rifles.

Curiously enough, both of the oldest rifles to go hunting with me are 1915 manufactured Winchesters in .303. One's a 95, the other a P14.
