Did he leave permanently or is he concentrating on a new home building project?

Pretty sure he has completed his home. He posted some photos a while back and for a few weeks was posting pretty regular. Not seen much from him in a while.

He's changing calibers again. Found something better than the .308. That would make about #5 for him. powdr

Yes I saw his home photos but knew he had another spec home to build this spring.
I assume he will show up when he wants..........

A real rifle loony would go through at least 15, or maybe 50, and still be wondering which future cartridge would change their life.

Could it be said that rifle loonies change cartridges faster than their underwear?

That made me feel inadequate.

67 years old and only currently have a dozen or so different die sets in the cupboard, although I was once "up" to around 15.

Does it help somewhat if there are multiple rifles in some of the chamberings? Thinking it does not.

I have only a modest number of rifles now and in plain vanilla chamberings. And I am content. The therapy and counseling must be kicking in.

Really I don't know how many that makes for him but I've had at least 15-20. 22Hornet,22-250, 25-20, 250Savage, 257 Robt's, 257AI, 7X57, 7X57AI, 338-280AI, 338-06, 338 Federal, 7mag. Well that's 12 and I'm sure I forgot some. It pays to experiment w/as many as you can. It may surprise some but I've never had the gay cartridge, a 30-06, or a 243. powdr
