Very nice writing Art and a great looking bear. Congratulations.
As an aside, once I got a Leica 15x55 Geovid and a proper tripod, I do 95% of my "hunting" with them and use my spotter for confirmation if I even have to. A much better view with two eyes and the same amount less eye strain.
