Congrats to you and Marsha, Woody.
It is nice to see/hear of so many here who have worked to stay in their marriages for so many years. Our 38th is coming up in less than a month, and we haven't really had to "work" at it. We just "knew" when we met - NO major issues and very few minor ones during our time together.
On another note - 44 years ago today, I had been out of high school for less than a month. And my mother would have been 82 today.
Someday I hope to be the person my dogs think I am . . .
