Had my barrel lopped at 16+" too. Love that thing. Leupold 4x33 heavy duplex and no problem whacking my 3" steel swinger at 100 yards. 50 yard zero and 4" of elevation dialed. Heck, my 8 year old has no problem doing it too. CCI Velocitors

I've got a 16" fluted heavy on mine. Balances well, no complaints.

I replaced the barrel with a Beyer Carbon Fiber, replaced all the trigger parts and trigger with Volequarton , replace the stock with a Boyd Tact Cool. This is one accurate and light 10-22. The rifle shoots the Wolfe Match Ammo into a ragged hole and my hunting load the Win Power Points almost as well. Ten shot group with the Power Points 40 gr HP's

Same here, sort of.

Had a 20" Target model and it was a fine shooter, good for bench work or over the hood of a car but way too muzzle heavy for carrying.

Sold it and got their "Tactical" model with the 16" heavy barrel and Hogue stock and also comes with a bipod that IMO would be better sold with the longer Target model. That 4" shorter barrel handles much, much better. Still enough heft out front to hold it steady but the balance is much more between the hands.

Plenty accurate enough with decent ammo and superbly accurate with good match ammo. I bought that rifle, ordered an SWFA SS10x42 scope and two days after the scope arrived used the combo to win Overall Match Aggregate Winner at our club's annual .22 Silhouette championship, that combines a 100 and 200 yard match.

Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery.

Don't know what you are talking about. I still have about a dozen bricks that I picked up for $10 per brick. I did splurge and buy a couple of bricks of CCI SV for $15 each.

What decade and century did you buy CCI SV for $10 a brick?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I've got the tacti-kewl on a CZ 455 varmint. didn't like it at 1st, but it had really grown on me. the verticalish grip and raised comb make it fit really well.

I v had a Ruger 10-22T rifle since it first came out. Tuned up the trigger, put a thumbhole glass bedded stock on it, and a Burris 6X target AO scope . I have four magazines which were loaded with Winchester 22 LR HP PP ammo before I headed to the prairie dog pasture. With the rifle sited in at 60 yards I have shot a bunch of prairie dog pups within about 75 yards with my 10-22 T rifle . Back then I would also use a Kimber 82 22 WMR for shots out to about 125 yards using Winchester 40 Gr HP ammo. Both are fine accurate rifles but after getting Cooper 57 M LVT 17 HMR and 17 HM2 rifles the Ruger and Kimber rifles stays at home when I go prairie dog pup shooting.
