Looks like Papa Moose got it on with one of the Holsteins.

It looks like a bull that's lost his antlers.

Pics were taken about 50km south of Peace River, Alberta. My hunting buddy knows the fellow that took the pics. It is a sweet looking young bull. Look at the eyes on thing moose...like crystal ice blue.

MightyPeace;
Good morning to you sir, I trust this finds you doing acceptably well.

It's cool you know the real goods on the photo and thanks for sharing them.

I noted the eyes too, not exactly what one would expect of say a true albino animal, but not normal either.

Once upon a time we had a cow pony with one blue eye that was 3/4 bubble off of plumb. Now I can't say that the one blue eye was the cause of his deviant behavior or an indicator of it, but I've been very, very cautious around blue eyed horses since then. laugh

Thanks for sharing the information with us again and all the best to you in the upcoming week.

Dwayne

Looks like its hackles are up and it's not happy with the photographer. The hair on its neck and hump are almost straight up which has been a display of threat/aggression by the moose, in my limited experience with these critters. Cool color, but weird!

Givin that photographer the ol' stink eye, he is. I'd be wishing for a bit bigger trees betwixt him and me!

If that's real it's pretty cool. Loving the blue eyes.
