Greetings,
I am willing to pay Bluebook value, give or take, for a Fox Model B (or B-S, B-SE, etc.), Savage 550 or Stevens 311. This shotgun will be used for hunting so condition is somewhat negotiable and I might be willing to take on some mechanical or cosmetic issues. I am not interested in bent, deeply dented or bulged barrels or loose headspace.
It must be 20 gauge. 24 inch barrels are preferred, but 26 inch barrels are acceptable. Standard improved cylinder/modified chokes preferred, but I will possibly consider other options as long as the second barrel is modified or tighter. I do not mind if the stock has been cut down as long as it is at least 13 inches from the front trigger to the end of the wood and the price is adjusted to reflect a shortened stock.
Shipping will go to my FFL. I also respectfully ask for a three day inspection period.
Thank you for considering this request. My wife and setter puppy will be very happy if she can find a shotgun as described above.

Thanks. Yes, I have seen two of the shotguns you linked to and am watching them only to see what prices they will bring. People are asking for more than book value for many of the B-SE's and 311's.
My wife is motivated to wait for 26" or 24" barrels. There is a very nice 20 gauge 311 at a local gun shop with 28" barrels. She liked it, but when she handled it for a while, it made her want shorter barrels even more for a bit lighter weight-and also imagining the thickets we will be going into. The shorter barrels will likely not need to have the chokes opened either- saving additional expense and time.
