My girls use the TTSX exclusively in the 243. They've killed 12 WT over the last couple of years with the 80 TTSX and a $300 out the door pawn shop 700 ADL. 7 of the 12 were DRT. The average shot was 70 yards and the deer weighted between 80 and 250 live. The innards on all 12 were soup. I see a larger entrance wound than exit. The picture is of my 8 year olds first buck. The knot you see is the entrance wound. You could stick a football through the ribcage.

That's what I use in my .243, and it makes me warm & fuzzy inside looking at how close the holes are to each other.

I decided to try the 80 TTSX this year on whitetail. Loaded some up last weekend for the first time. 45.0 IMR4350 .030" off. Approximately 3400 fps.

First go at 330 yards with a rifle closer to 5 lbs than 6 (Rifles Inc 243). 2.75" high at 100. The steel is 8" diameter. Held where I could barely see white at top of horizontal wire. Point blank range is about 360 yards.

ctsmith,

Did you recover those bullets on the ground below the steel? If so, what did they look like?
