How did you get 5 Thunderbolts to fire in a row?

reelman, that sounds like a snide question. I was actually wondering the same thing though.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Seriously when it comes to Thunderbolts and Remington sub-sonics I get about 1 out of 5 that doesn't fire. And this is out of 6 or 7 different 22s!

Sure, the TB's are not 100% reliable, but in my experience every third or fifth shot etc.is not a squib/dud.

Most Remington 22lr sucks. Sorry to put it so bluntly. The best Remington 22lr I've used was the good ol yellow jacket ammo. The new stuff just isn't worth buying. I was glad to walk into my lgs yesterday and see there were no thunderbolts on the shelves, but I did score some federal 36gr. hollowpoint bulk ammo (525 pack). For the money, that stuff works great and it fires every time. However, people still buy the Remington crap so it must work for some people. I gave the rest of my Remington 22lr to my dad. I know I'm an azz

I've got two bricks of Rem. Thunderbolts in the basement, same lot. I've fired 100 out of each in my Ruger Mk III. Zero FTF and it's more accurate than any other .22 LR ammo I've tried in the pistol, including a variety of match ammo. Lucky?

My old Savage 187N, loved Thunderbolts. I killed a lot of squirrels with them. Don't remember ever having a FTF. Golden Bullets were another matter.
'course this was ammo manufactured before the"panic".

I've shot them too and they are pretty accurate untill you have one that isn't. That's the difference between them and quality match ammo.

Harpy, Exactly what camera and mount and scope did you get to make such video?
