Dennis is a tough SOB for having fought this damn illness so long. Lesser men would not have made it nearly as long.

I count Dennis as a good friend and am also sorry for his latest setback. As said he is having a rough go of it at present, but he is a fighter which no doubt is probably part of the reason he is still with us. The last time we were up to see him was in September 2013 and he was really doing quite well. We enjoyed our time with him then immensely. I too, feel enriched by knowing him and have always admired him. Here is a picture taken in September 2013 on his porch. Dennis has always been a gent to me. Same here! There was an article in a magazine that I could not get here in Sweden, and Dennis took the trouble to get my address, make a nice color photocopy of the article and send it via post to me here in Sweden. Dennis is a classy and very friendly guy. John
