Hey Guys

My son Zale and I built a new shooting bench for the deer lease - it seems to fit him fine.... and the (1915 - checked trigger) 250-3000 looks good too....

Nice. Could I ask where you got the plans for the bench?

Nice work on the bench. Good investment in your kids.

It fits him, but does it fit you?

My right elbow would be hanging off.

Good thing he didn't build it for you huh? I'm guessing the kid shooting off the bench is priority numero uno.

Exactly what we have at our range!!! Nice job. You'll probably NEVER get your 1899 250-3000 back now that your son has taken a shine to it. Congratulations!!!!

Chris...

Your new shootin' bench looks plenty sturdy... nice job of building it.

I'm glad to see your boy doing-it-right in his shooting stance... no doubt due to your instruction... good job... that will serve him well for the rest of his life !~!~!

I'd hate to be the deer that young fella puts his sights on... 'cause very soon after your boy aligns the sights, there will be a deer to drag back to camp and venison steaks, chops and roasts to eat the rest of the year and then some.

Congrats on "doing-it-right", my friend... smile

You also can find plans for benches in old (circa-1950s) Lyman reloading manuals.
