Been a tough year . with High water levels the fish move off common spots and disperse. It is one here and one there. Hopeing this fall is more normal levels and we get back to rippin" lips. Try September and usually by then the bugs are gone. Crisp nights and 60 degree days. The best time to catch big ones in the Northland....... Buckfever1

Heard it's been pretty windy as well most of the summer up there. Hope it gets better.

We've been pounding the walleyes at the East end of Erie.

Limited the last 3 times out (total of 30 keepers, two times with a friend, and once alone), got a 10#, 10# 4 oz, and a 10# 11 oz. in the bunch (to win any contest around here, you normally need a very big 10, on up to a mid 12# fish to be in 1st place). We also got a lot of big 8's and the rest from 3 to 6#'s...

10# 4 oz.

10#..

10# 11oz. Had to catch & net this one alone..

12 fish in the 100qt. cooler..

Last week I got an 8.8 pounder that was tagged in Michigan (it's buried in the bottom of the cooler above), that's a 250 mile swim !!
I sent them the info on the fish tag, hoping to find out when it was tagged so I can find out the approximate age.

We actually do better when it's not so flat out. One to two footers is about perfect (we call it a Walleye Chop).

I have a good friend that lives in Lebanon. His name is Brock C., did a lot of trapping, and hunting. We were in Vietnam together...
We use to hunt in Oden Pa, for deer & turkey.

Sorry I dont know him.

Thank you so much for your sacrifice and service!!

Not sure where Oden is, I hunt primarily in Potter co and down in WV.

Went up to the detroit river this spring, had a couple of nice ones, 1 10lbs and another 8lbs. Congrats on the awesome cooler of eyes!

Bad case of "stupid finger "... Odin is spelled with an "i", not an e.
It's in Potter County, south of Coudersport on Rt 872.
Hunted Potter County a lot back in the 70's to the late 90's.
Very good hunting back then...
