My egg table was starting to look like hell, so yesterday I put on a couple coats of tung oil. Looks like new again. I am really glad I went with an oil finish.

Very nice! Been kicking around the idea of putting mine in a table ... just can't make up my mind.

Thanks guys. Rickybobby you should do a table. It's nice having some working space. I had a blast building my table. It took me a long time to build it though. I started to lose interest by the time I was done

Looks great!!! I've found that the vented covers from BGE and similar really help keep the table and eggs looking good

I once visited a place where BBQ was a verb, Canadian whiskey was the norm and no sweet tea on the menu. Hell on earth for a Southern boy!!

I've been back and forth between getting a table or maybe just finding a nice kitchen island and putting it on nice caster wheels. Basically using it as a side table or staging table and having some storage in it for all my accessories. I could roll it right up next to my Egg when grilling. Not sure yet but I definitely could use some extra countertop space.

I use a BGE cover that is ventilated but for some reason it sweats underneath it. Not a big deal since it's usually just on the granite top. I need to find a good granite sealer. Its starting to look like it has a slight haze to it now
