Have weaver rings and bases right now, wanting to go with Talley's. Even with low rings, I still have room to mount lower and clear both the bolt handle and barrel, so the X-lows seem appealing. Scope is a Minox ZX-5 1.5-8x32mm

John, Don't have any pictures, but I can assure you will have no problem with the ex-lows in that application. I'm pretty sure Talley makes the Browning Branded 1pc. rings for BACO as they do the Winchester Branded ones for the Mod.70. Just be sure to buy them from Talley or a retailer as BACO charges (or least did recently) almost twice the going rate for them. John

Thanks for your input. I'm sure you are 100% correct, but really would like someone's proof in pictures before I commit, as there's no LGS around here that has any Talley LW of any kind on hand to try out beforehand.

I have used and like Talleys but went to S&K as they weigh about what the Talleys do but found the look of the one piece rings sleeker. These are low mounts - if that helps.

260 A-bolt with Leupold 3.5 x 10 x40 VX3. Front mount is reversed to mount the scope slightly forward.

Here's a couple off how it looks now. First is with a Vortex 2-7x32 I had mounted before I sold it and got the Minox in the 2nd pic. Both with the same mounts and low rings.

Yeah, I decided to get away from synthetics for a while and bought something more pleasing to the eye & touch from which to shoot/hunt with. Do have a Tikka T3 Ultralight 7Mag (that's replacing on old Savage 116 in like caliber) coming though. Don't know just yet which road I'll take on it for optics however.

That Minox is a great fit for that rifle. Whole set-up looks really good.

Thanks! A lot of thought and effort went into making it a balanced system, both in aesthetics and ergonomics. Came with a 26" bbl I had cut & recrowned to 21" and stock shortened to a 13" LOP. Basically, a Micro-Medallion clone.
