I mounted a $19.95 Tasco 4 Power on top of mine...

Got it on close out at KMart on the way home....

They threw in the Simmons rings for free... that saved me a Fast $4.99!

For some reason, a 3 x 9 Leupold refuse to mount on there...

but the Tasco 4 power went on there like a champ... looks pretty sporty too...

Seems to be a lot of want here to stiffen the stock. I'm thinking those little blue pills will work for most of yus. But for the peasant rifle project (PRP) I really do dig the idea of use what's laying around and what's laying around up here in Canaduh is a lot of broken hockey sticks the ditches are littered with them. I'm thinking lag bolt a select chunk of hockey stick handle underneath the forearm. Not some kind of bad bubba show, show a little pride, countersink the bolts nicely inside the forearm lest they rub on the meddle and coz akerasy problems. Then hit the whole shebang with flat mat desert brown tacitcool krylon. Or spend a little more if you have it and get ingwe to do his magic for final finish of the PRP
