Sadly I think you're right.

that's the day we send all that lead to "them" air mail.

Yep.

The radical environmentalists and the agencies that do their bidding and evictions need the same dosage.

Done, but all those guys who tout using Barnes and other all copper bullets are just fueling the fire and giving the anti's ammunition to say that lead alternatives are available at reasonable prices with every copper bullet they send down the barrel.

Probably some of the very ones who responded to this use them.

After lead is banned - they'll go for copper.

Done, with reservations about all the info that they wanted. I was at Harbor Freight yesterday and when I went to pay out, the first question the cashier asked was my phone number. I told her that she did not need my phone number, and it pizzed her off. She was very short and stiff to me after that. I generally try not to be a horses butt, but I get enough junk phone calls as is. miles

Yep, and I predict that the "Fuddism" over black rifles for hunting will pale in comparison.

"It's all about hunting, and you don't 'need' a lead bullet to kill a deer, and what's a couple of dollars for a bullet on a hunting trip costing far more, if it will help the environment, etc. etc."

A lady from an Iowa ag dynasty made a lot of noise supporting a total ban on lead shot, IIRC, quite happy using non-toxic shot for everything.

No small concern to me, as these days I shoot lead bullets from .22 to .45 BPCR almost exclusively, and there aren't any practical substitutes. If lead bullets are banned, I will have some very expensive wall hangers.

So now we are going to fight among ourselves and blame those of us who like and use Barnes bullets for the potential lead ban? Come on guys........... I shoot a lot more lead bullets than copper and have probably 100 times more traditional bullets on my shelves than I do copper. But there are times when I want a TTSX and am more confident in the results. Does that make me to blame for the potential ban? I don't think so. What about those of us who like, own, and shoot Tikka's. Are we responsible for the potential failures of American gun companies? I also don't think so, although I do try to buy "made in the USA".

We need to understand that the blame for the potential lead ban lies with the liberal left and blame them next November.

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

Done.

All I need is for shooting to get even more expensive by being forced to buy copper bullets. Hell, Ballistic tips strain the budget enough, Partitions even more so.
