Murkowski, a moderate Republican who has represented the state since 2002, is taking the unusual step of publicly rebutting her Democratic colleague�s claims that the two are a close duo in Washington. She has requested her name be removed from a Begich press release noting they were on the same page on a recent vote over contraceptive legislation. She�s scoffed at Begich�s campaign citing their work together in a recent 60-second radio ad. And her office pushed back at Begich�s assertion that the two have voted alike 80 percent of the time.
In an interview, she made crystal clear she�s no fan of Begich citing her name without her consent.
�I just think he needs to run on his record � and not mine,� she said bluntly in the Capitol this week.
Liiisa feels Marky is going to lose and that stink will stain her. I hope so. Who is the clown with the Anch aero biz in marky's ads that claims Mark and Liiisa vote together 80% of the time. I hope Liiisa's upcoming opponent has a recording of that to use in 2 years.
