Guys, Just received my latest addition from Gary Goudy. It is a .270 Win, G33-40 action, Danny Petersen cut rifled barrel, Blackburn bottom metal, and a stick of New Zealand walnut I got from Bill Dowtin years ago. I chose the blank for it's relative light weight, excellent grain structure, and beautiful color. It's not the fanciest stock going, but it elves my needs precisely.Enjoy. TT

The last sentence should read It serves my needs precisely. Sorry, but the auto correction got me again.

Teach every child you meet the importance of forgiveness. It's our only hope of surviving their wrath once they realize just how badly we've screwed things up for them.

Actually, not all that many. I'd have to count them up to be certain, but I'll take a stab at seven or eight. My old pal Dan Werbe from Indiana must hold the record. He has at least thirty of Gary's rifles, and probably more.

Nice rifle Tom. As usual your pictures are the best.
What does it weigh?
Shooting much this summer? We were at the Pima Pistol Range yesterday. They put up two 12" steel plates on the 100 yd range. They flip back when hit then come back up so there is no worry of ricochets. I have been pushing for this for years.
Haven't seen Dave or Curt at the range in quite a while.

Ross,
Dunno on the weight, haven't put it on a scale yet. I'll let you know when I weigh it. Not surprised that you've not seen Curt or Dave at the range. Dave had his other shoulder replaced about three or so months ago, so he won't be shooting until just before Coues season. He now has two new knees and two new shoulders. We'll have to start calling him the bionic man before too much longer.
Thanks guys for all your nice comments on the rifle. I'll pass them along to Gary as well.

It's a Silvers pad from London Guns quite a few years back.
Thanks for all the nice comments.
