Cerakote has a color named "Stainless" that looks exactly like brushed stainless steel.
Looks great and is more weather resistant than untreated stainless steel.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Cerakote will give you the weather resistance of stainless on the outside of the barrel, but you will still have to do something about the bore itself. Dyna-Bore Coat is your huckleberry there.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

but you will still have to do something about the bore itself. Dyna-Bore Coat is your huckleberry there. I systematically coat my bores with copper.

Im a huge fan of Cerakote. Ive been using Gunkote for years now and Cerakote is stronger and more flexible as far one bottle can do gloss, satin or flat. Love Brunt Bronze!

Hired Gun here has Cerakoted the Externals and Micro Slicked the Internals of my WBY MK V ULW 30-06 and now has my Sako A7 Tecomate 300 WSM for the same treatment. Shawn is a great guy to do business with and his work is out standing! AMRA http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/users/5671/HiredGun

Recommend somewhere close to NC to have a barreled action CeraKoted.
