Any interest in one. I have always wanted to go there Red Stag hunting but alas, money and age won't let me. I think it would be great to have this forum as New Zealand offers a wide variety of hunting and fishing opportunities that might interest a lot of folks. Also, it is said the folks there are great. Any thoughts?

Just rename the Australia one Australasia or something similar.

North, South, and West island hunting forum?

Southern hunting forums?

No, better not use that as it will confuse the Yanks.

I'm headed to NZ in March for stag/tahr.

Not to be an ass, but only you can be the one to say "I'm too old or too poor". Just do it. You won't regret it.

I don't think there would be enough usage of a dedicated NZ forum. I'd be about like the BPRC one we already have. I was surprised we got an Aussie forum though, so who knows?

Well, how about combining the Aussie and NZ into one forum. That would work as a lot of Aussies go to NZ also.

Will do. I usually email pics to Mark as well. I'm sure this trip will be no different.

And lower the average IQ of both countries in the process.

I love Red Stag. They are my second preferred trophy next to Axis. I just think the money is quite ridiculous. No way I could pay the cost for a New Zealand trip & then enjoy the antlers in my den knowing how much it cost. I look at the current set I have now & ask my wife, "If you were looking for a table top ornament for that coffee table, would you have spent $3000 on it?"

I try to find gooder, cheaper places state-side for the Red Deer. But, I would love to see a Southern Hemisphere forum.

And increase the sheep-rooting average.

The South Island, in particular, looks like a wonderful place as beautiful as any of the mountainous areas of Europe- without all those pesky Europeans.

What fresh Hell is this?
