Im working on an Idea based on the 1903 catalog cover. I like to put the working idea out for critique and suggestions. Id really like to hear your ideas be they color shape, anything.

[Linked Image]Im thinking "Sauk City, Wisconsin" in smaller letters following the bottom curve.

Im working on other ideas for the front over the pocket.

Maybe curve the SAVAGE FEST letters across the top of the circle rather than through it?

Looks pretty good.

I think Calhoun is right about curving the top.

Maybe "SAVAGE" at top, "FEST" at bottom and "Sauk City, WI" inside at top... all curved.

Great idea...I like it!

Also thought I could leave sconny off the back and put it in a small badge over the heart on front...

I also considered shrinking the logo and moving it up so I could put a star and "Sauk City, WI" on the proper place in the state.

Hi GD,

I think

if you dropped the crossed guns down to the mid to bottom third of the SVG logo, rather than directly through the center ( so it doesnt look like your crossing out or cancelling the fest),

and

arced the savagefest words at top, you got a winner there.

It will be more memorable to use the outline of the state it was in, rather than the horsey pic.

I like it alot. Great job, and effort.

I'm thinking that if you reduce the Savage Fest logo a bit and center it over Sauk City that would be a winner. Might have to have huge Wisconsin to make it work. grin

What the heck is that big red blob behind the crossed rifles? Isn't Wisconsin a blue state? grin

You are doing a great job. Your idea to put Sauk City, WI on the bottom of the state would balance out the entire image very well in my opinion.
