Im working on an Idea based on the 1903 catalog cover. I like to put the working idea out for critique and suggestions. Id really like to hear your ideas be they color shape, anything. Im thinking "Sauk City, Wisconsin" in smaller letters following the bottom curve. Im working on other ideas for the front over the pocket.

Maybe curve the SAVAGE FEST letters across the top of the circle rather than through it?
Looks pretty good.

Maybe "SAVAGE" at top, "FEST" at bottom and "Sauk City, WI" inside at top... all curved.
Great idea...I like it!

Hi GD, I think if you dropped the crossed guns down to the mid to bottom third of the SVG logo, rather than directly through the center ( so it doesnt look like your crossing out or cancelling the fest), and arced the savagefest words at top, you got a winner there. It will be more memorable to use the outline of the state it was in, rather than the horsey pic. I like it alot. Great job, and effort.

I'm thinking that if you reduce the Savage Fest logo a bit and center it over Sauk City that would be a winner. Might have to have huge Wisconsin to make it work.

What the heck is that big red blob behind the crossed rifles? Isn't Wisconsin a blue state?

Gary You are doing a great job. Your idea to put Sauk City, WI on the bottom of the state would balance out the entire image very well in my opinion.

The vertical bar ahead of the horse's nose could be eliminated and replaced with the city & state where the fest is being held. Replace duplication with interesting information.

They're really a red state but they just don't know it. They believe in most of the stuff we believe in but they just can't make themselves vote non-progressive. Been there, done that, from there. It's truly a shame.

What if,... you go with the smaller logo, but drag out and enlarge Savage Fest 2014 and put it above/below the state? These are really good Gary. Viking crush state? I guess everybody's gotta love something,...

That "Vikequeen" should be squatting. Minnesota has won how many Superbowls? Of course, "there's always next year." Use the image that moves you for the T-shirts.

Im playing with various sugjestions, and size and shape. On this, savage fest and 2014 would be ourlined in white when printed, or I could remove the outline and let them be just black. Im kinda liking this sugjestion. Others...

I too like it better without the outline.
Consider simplifying the design by omitting the date: Sept. 11. 12&13. These dates seem to get lost because of the size and font. I'd even like to see it without the Savage blanket beside the logo for a comparison.
