What bullet you going to shoot in it? I'd drop the trigger to 2#s, but the rest I could like a lot.

The rifle was throated for 127gr Barnes LR TTSX. This will be my goto rifle for everything but Bull Elk and up.
The magazine length is 2.925". I prefer a 3lb trigger for all types of hunting. Can easily be adjusted for less pull.

Mighty fine, J.
I know you're glad to finally get it in your mitts. Be sure and post pix after a range session.
Best,
GWB

Very nice rifle -
I wouldn't hesitate to smack an elk with that bullet. You're basically shooting a .270...grin!!!!!
This is from a Texas transplant who now lives out west. Trust me...grin...

Nice mag length. I'd be very tempted to try out 140 vlds in that one. And I'd go ahead and shoot a bull elk too....

Thanks guys! I'm new to Texas two years, born and raised in New Mexico. This rifle will certainly follow me back on my yearly mule deer and elk hunts in Colorado. I've been fortunate to meet a true friend here in Texas who has shown me how to hunt Texas style. Not to shabby at all, love it more each time we venture out.

Nice! I have had a Predator action (chambered in 6 BR) for a very short time, but I like it quite a lot...
Nice red pad also.

Nice, does it feed well? I've been considering a creedmoor on a predator for a while. I have a heavier one on a Tac 30AW and it feeds fine with the aw mags just wondered about the wyatts box on a predator.
My 30AW has an 8 twist 24" bartlien and loves 140 vld hunting bullets over 43g of H4350 at 2.89" coal. It's shot several groups under .3 moa. I took a 4x4 mule deer a few years back with that load and it dropped dead at the shot hit right behind the shoulder.
Let us know how it shoots.

This rifle feeds and functions perfectly. Extraction models the M16. Test target was right at 1/2 group at 100yds 5 shots. This was a very reduced load shooting 140 grain core locks over H4350. If the rain doesn't destroy the weekend, I'll head out Saturday morning to the range. I put 250 rounds together the past few weeks in anticipation of receiving the rifle, all variations. Drew a very coveted forth season buck tag in Colorado this year. I'll either be taking my custom 6.5-06 or this 6.5 Creedmoor. Depending on the area I hunt, the 6.5-06 offers a slight advantage over the Creedmoor for long canyon and grassland shots.
