OP iambrb Campfire Tracker Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 5,335 South Carolina	Here is the one I have recently gotten to work on. Bought the blade blemished from premium knives for $9 shipped. it is 440C stainless. Pins are stainless tube. Wood is Amboyna Burl, suggested me by the Backwoods Knives guy. Not even close to finished, I just wetted it to show off the grain. This is just rough shaped on the sander. I may take it down a bit more, but not too much. Even though my hands are just medium at best, I am finding as I shape and handle this one that I want it a tad thick. I may taper down the pommel some more, when I bring it in tighter to the bolster though, we will have to see. Last edited by iambrb; 07/27/14.
