I just bought one on a lark, and for a cheap rifle, I have to say it is surprisingly accurate and quite fun to shoot.
Anybody else have one?

I have one in 17. it's a Classic version and very nice. Shot great when I bought it. Last time out was not so good. Have not spent time figuring it out yet. Hope it's something easy. Glad you found a good one.

I have a 93 "Classic" Magnum. Very accurate with the ammo it likes and a beautiful rifle for the money--best stock and styling that Savage has come up with in a LONG time, IMO. Got it about 3 years (and many ground squirrels and one coyote) ago.
